<p>Elon Musk’s X, once known as Twitter, is advancing quickly. The firm is now taking a leaf out of Facebook’s book for its Communities feature to further improve the customer experience. <p>The new function will let administrators of private communities respond to a query before joining the community and accepting the rules of the group. These responses could aid administrators in making decisions on whether to accept a certain account into the community. Additionally, it could to some degree assist with spam moderation.</p>
<p>“Gatekeeping allowed – admins of private communities can now require people to answer a question first before being able to join,” @X tweeted. After administrators review the comments of potential members, this will also enable Communities to benefit from a more exclusive class, claims TechCrunch.</p>
<p>The question “Why do you want to join this community?” and a few more membership rules are apparent in the screencap that was sent with the post. In contrast, Meta’s capability enables administrators to submit many questions and consent to establish rules. Members may even be asked questions concerning the clearly written rules to see whether they have read them.</p>
<p>Unlike Facebook Groups, only Premium verified users are allowed to create Communities on X. All X accounts may join a community, however. Frederik Lohner, an engineer at X, also revealed some new improvements for Android users.</p>
<p>X Android Enhancements</p>
<p>On X, Lohner said that “tons of good stuff should be live on Android.” Better scrolling performance, quicker startup times, and an enhanced viewing experience are among the enhancements. A video cast button, he said, is “on the backlog.” The mobile applications branch of X is looking for additional positions, the engineer added.</p>
