<p>Congressman Ro Khanna made these comments after meeting Bachchan on Saturday in Mumbai. Bachchan is 80 years old.</p>

<p>Congressman Michael Waltz, the other co-chair of the India Caucus, and Congressman Ro Khanna, one of the co-chairs of the Congressional India Caucus, are now in India heading a bipartisan congressional delegation. Khanna is also participating in the trip.</p>

<p>“During our one-hour discussion about artificial intelligence (AI), which covered a broad range of topics, we…The ascent of India, Bachchan’s father, and the significance of the relationship between the United States and India. The life and times of Amitabh Bachchan are emblematic of India’s history. According to Congressman Ro Khanna, who spoke with PTI, “He is the biggest brand ambassador for India to the world.”</p>

<p>Khanna responded to a question by saying, “I told Mr. Bachchan that he must visit the United States again — that he offers hope to so many Indian American immigrants like my family and parents and that he is a symbol for the rise of India and Indian-Americans.”</p>

<p>“We discussed the importance of the eternal values—compassion, respect, consideration, and empathy—and how much these values matter more ultimately to our future,” Khanna added. “We talked about how much compassion, respect, consideration, and empathy ultimately matter.”</p>

<p>Khanna is seen chatting with Bachchan at the latter’s bungalow in Mumbai in a brief video that was shared on X, which was once known as Twitter.</p>

<p>In a tweet, Bachchan referred to the award as “an honor and a privilege.”</p>

<p>“It was a tremendous pleasure to talk with Mr. Bachan Bachan. He felt a sense of pride in how the path India had taken since its independence had paralleled his own life and the experience of the Indian American community. He gave me a book written by his father, who was acquainted with my grandpa, Khanna said in his book.</p>

<p>During his time in Mumbai, the Indian American congressman had the opportunity to speak with the actor Anupam Kher.</p>

<p>“It was a joy to have United States Representative Deborah Ross and State Representative Ro Khanna visit our school, Actor Prepares. We had a wonderful time interacting with those who are going to be studying acting in the near future. It gave me great pleasure to take them on a tour of the school. I am grateful to have such like spirits and admiration in my life. I say Jai Ho! Kher, who is 68 years old, said this on social media.</p>
